Best Maid Pickles will throw a pickle party this week.
A nearly 100-year-old Fort Worth pickle company will host a party this weekend to kick off the "month of green." There are also two other anniversary parties on the list: one for a popular chef-driven Hurst restaurant, and one for Fort Worth's original craft coffee shop. Want to keep the romance of Valentine's Day alive? There's an "aphrodisiac" dinner for you.

Mother of All Burger Nights at James Provisions
To celebrate its second birthday, the chef-driven Hurst eatery will host the “Mother of All Burger Nights” featuring a lineup of their greatest hits. The menu will include the fried green tomato burger, prosciutto burger, herbed ricotta burger, jalapeno cheddar burger, short rib burger, blue cheese burger, and more. From 4-9 pm, they're offering $2 off burgers and $5 False Idol Beers.

Pinea Wine Dinner at Don Artemio
Experience a taste of northern Spain during this four-course wine pairing that will highlight Tempranillos from the lauded Pinea Winery. Special guest Hugo del Pozzo, one of the winery’s founders, will guide guests through the meal. Dinner is $245, plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm.

Aphrodisiac Wine Dinner at Grace
A six-course “aphrodisiac” dinner at Grace aims to keep romance alive beyond Valentine’s Day. Menu items include Cape Hatteras oysters, bluefin tuna crudo, grilled asparagus and golden beet salad, ricotta caramelle, pomegranate molasses glazed pork ribs, and Haitian chocolate with avocado mousse. Wine pairings included in the $149 price, plus tax and gratuity. Arrive by 6:30 pm for passed canapes and sparkling rose.

Avoca Coffee Roasters 15th Anniversary
Fort Worth’s original craft coffee shop (and 2025 Tastemaker Awards Winner for Best Coffee Shop) will celebrate 15 years at all locations, including Stockyards, Foch St., Denton, and the original West Magnolia Avenue microroaster. All location will feature a special iced birthday cake latte, and the Magnolia and Denton shops will also have live music, local vendors, and specialty drinks.
Lucky To Be Pickled at Best Maid Pickle Emporium
Fort Worth-based Best Maid Pickles, which turns 100 this year, will kick off the “month of green” with a pickle party at its flagship emporium. Visit from 11 am-6 pm for free pickle tastings, Martin House Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer giveaways, photo ops with Smiley the Best Maid Pickles mascot, and family-friendly activities. Tastings will run until 5:30 pm while supplies last.
Texas Independence Day at TX Whiskey
The home of TX Whiskey will host a Lone Star-sized celebration of Texas Independence Day, which will include live music, boot shining, food trucks, armadillo racing, and the release of TX Whiskey’s limited edition Texas flag bottle; free on-site engraving included. The event will run from 12-5 pm, and tickets are $11.99 and include a cocktail.
