Harvest Hall’s lively bar and music venue has officially transformed into Nightmare on Main Street, an over-the-top Halloween pop-up with creepy décor and playfully themed cocktails. Visit the downtown Grapevine destination (connected to Hotel Vin) for drinks like the Monster Mash-a-rita and the Berry Scary, along with themed events like live band karaoke and cover bands galore. The pop-up will run through October 31. (Note the bar is closed on Mondays.)
Free Online Central Market Class: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Sylvia Casares
Sylvia Casares, Houston-based restaurateur, cookbook author, and founder of Sylvia’s Signature Sauces, will share stories about her heritage as she cooks a meal during this free online class, which will run from 5–6 pm.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Meet & Greet at Bojangles
The Bedford outlet of the buzzy Bojangles chain at 1953 Airport Fwy. will host former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Armani Latimer for a meet-and-greet with giveaways. Visit the drive-through line from 11 am–1 pm for a free Bo’s three-piece chicken tender snack and a chance to order from Latimer, a South Carolina native who grew up on Bojangles’ biscuits, fried chicken, and iced tea. (Latimer will also try her hand at making biscuits while there.)

Oktoberfest Date Night at Salt & Light Collective
Keller culinary studio will keep the Oktoberfest fun going with a cooking class dedicated to tastes of Bavaria. Learn how to prepare bratwurst, sauerkraut, crispy roasted potatoes, and German apple cake during this hands-on class. The $99 ticket price is for two adults. The class is BYOB and will run from 6:30–8:30 pm.

Black Lagoon at Nickel City
Halloween pop-up channels a bar that originated in New Orleans in 2019, and is back at Nickel City this year with a spooky atmosphere and an array of creepy concoctions. Spine-chilling cocktails include Griselda’s Revenge made with Fords Gin, tarragon, lemon, Thai spice, and soda; and the Corpse Flower made Lalo Tequila Blanco, lime, and sherry. There’s also a menu of spirit-free cocktails along with potent shooters. The pop-up will run through November 1.
