New Year's Day falls on a Thursday this year, which means longer celebrations with some restaurants kicking off 2026 with four straight days of weekend brunch. January 1 is also a big day for college bowl games and it's National Bloody Mary Day, too — even more reasons to mark the start of the New Year with a celebratory brunch.

Blue Mesa Grill
Southwestern grill will host its annual New Year’s Day brunch buffet featuring signature dishes and special holiday additions. Enjoy beef tenderloin chimichurri, ginger chipotle glazed ham, smoked brisket, red chile salmon, shrimp & grits, black-eyed peas, greens, and Blue Mesa’s signature Adobe Pie (an original version of tamales), offered in both chicken and black bean varieties. Traditional brunch dishes include made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, a taco bar, desserts, and more. $45 price includes peach bellinis and mimosas; $15 for kids 6–11. Hours: 9 am–4 pm.
Chicken N Pickle
Recuperate from New Year’s Eve revelry at the Grapevine outlet of Chicken N Pickle during their Hangover Open pickleball tournament. The $60 price includes team registration, open play before the competition, and a mimosa, bloody mary, or mocktail for each player. The tournament will run from 10 am–1 pm. Stay fueled with brunch items like breakfast burritos, chicken and waffles, chicken biscuits, French toast, and more.
Cru Wine Bar & Bistro
Upscale wine bar chain will serve a bountiful brunch with crab cake benedict, steak & eggs, goat cheese beignets, avocado toast, pear & gorgonzola pizza, Napa burger, Cobb salad, grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup, chocolate fondue for the table, plus cocktails including their signature peach bellini, bellini cipriano, and orange mimosa. Emilia’s
The Crescent Hotel’s upscale restaurant will serve a celebratory brunch menu January 1 – 4 featuring its signature mimosa trolley with festive accoutrements and a build-your-own bloody mary bar. Menu items include Mediterranean-inspired shareable dishes like meatballs, arancini, and oysters along with artisanal bagels, croissants, seasonal French toast, eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and the Canyon Ranch acai bowl named for the hotel’s onsite wellness destination.
Malai Kitchen

Rex’s Bar & Grill
Sports bar will serve its recently launched brunch menu with stick-to-your-ribs dishes like steak & eggs, chilaquiles, breakfast tacos, sausage & egg breakfast pizza, or brunch bowl with choice of chorizo, bacon, sausage, grilled chicken, brisket, or chicken sausage. Brunch cocktails range from Cinnamon Toast martinis to Cowboy Cool-Aid made with Crown Royal and Coors Banquet. Hours: 9:30 am-3 pm.
Walloon’s
Chef Marcus Paslay’s seafood-centric destination will open for brunch featuring signature dishes like salmon benedict, brunch paninis, beignets, espresso martini,and classic bloody mary. Brunch will run from 11 am–3 pm.
Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar
Southern-inspired destination in Alliance will host four days of brunch starting on New Year’s Day featuring signature dishes like chicken and waffles, bloody mary deviled eggs, and BLT toast. Pair with Whiskey Cake’s new sip-and-share cocktail towers, including Aperol Brunch Punch, Champagne Problems, and a mimosa flight. January 1-4, 10 am-3 pm.
