A beloved Fort Worth bar will celebrate its 20th birthday this week. But first, make plans for a brewery tasting and tour at one of the Stockyards’ most popular venues, an Italian wine dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse, and a Napa wine dinner at a Fort Worth seafood destination. There’s also a tenured tasting event happening in Grapevine for a good cause.

Fabrizio Pratesi Wine Dinner at Chama Gaucha
The new Grapevine location of this Brazilian steakhouse chain will host a four-course wine dinner featuring Italian wine producer Fabrizio Pratesi. Four courses will be paired with five wines. The dinner is $120 and will begin at 6:30 pm. Call 682-799-4025 for reservations.

Great Taste of Grapevine
The 27th annual tasting event will take place at the Grapevine Vintage Railroad Train Depot and feature bites and sips from area restaurants and wineries. Proceeds benefit the Grapevine Chamber Women’s Division school supply program and Christmas program for local seniors. Tickets are $30 ($40 at the gate) and include all food samples and one glass of wine. Or pay $50 for VIP tickets and get train car access, special parking, and two glasses of wine. The event will run from 5-8 pm.
Brewer’s Table at Second Rodeo Brewing
The Stockyards' Mule Alley brewery and live music venue will host its first Brewer’s Table featuring Second Rodeo “brew boss” Dennis Whermann. The fifth-generation German brewer will walk guests through some of Second Rodeo’s latest releases and a tour of the on-site brewery. The $35 ticket includes a tasting flight with food pairings and one full pint of beer. The event will begin at 6 pm.
Honig Wine Dinner at Fitzgerald
Michael Honig, owner of Napa Valley’s Honig Vineyard and Winery, will visit Fitzgerald in west Fort Worth for a special wine dinner featuring his offerings. The five-course menu will feature shrimp enchiladas, pan-seared seabass, duck breast, filet en croute, and brie and apple tart. Wines will include an array of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dinner reservations are $150, plus tax and gratuity, and will begin at 6:30 pm.

Finn MacCool’s Pub 20-Year Anniversary
One of Fort Worth’s first and most revered pubs in the recent era will celebrate its 20th birthday with a party. Visit Finn MacCool’s Pub, located near the Medical District, for live music, casino games, and drink specials all night. The celebration begins at 7 pm.
