The fourth annual Glizzy Fest arrives this week at Martin House Brewing Company.
A Fort Worth brewery will celebrate summer with corn dogs and ketchup-flavored beer. In other dining events news, find your barbecue fix at a local distillery, visit a posh hotel for a burger cookout, then plan for a museum happy hour.

TX Whiskey Wednesday Featuring Meat Therapy
There is a cure for the summertime blues: Meat Therapy at Whiskey Ranch. The barbecue food truck will be on-site at the largest whiskey distillery west of the Mississippi, where there’ll also be live music and sunset views. The $10 entry fee includes your first cocktail. Visit from 6–9 pm.

Burgers in the Yard at Bowie House
It’s a summertime cookout in the Yard at Bowie House. Tickets ($50 plus tax and service fee) include a burger, chips and salsa, and a ranch water to wash it all down. There’ll also be live music. The party starts at 5:30 pm. Bonus: valet parking will be complimentary.

Kimbell Happy Hour
Renowned museum will open up after hours for cocktails, bites, and live music. Joe Savage will provide tunes while guests can enjoy beverages and bites available for purchase. (Members receive a 10 percent discount.) Admission is free and the event will run from 5-7 pm.

Glizzy Fest at Martin House Brewing Company
Presented by Fletcher’s Corny Dogs, the fourth annual festival will feature Fletcher’s corn dog trailer with a special ketchup-flavored beer from Martin House. There’ll be a corny dog eating contest, live music, and local vendors. Guests can purchase a $20 wristband good for one pint glass and four pours. The event will run from 12–5 pm.
Sunday, June 15
Grilling with Dad: Parent & Child Class at Central Market
Kids can cook with their dads during this hands-on class at the Central Market Cooking School. The menu includes steakhouse kabobs, halloumi cheese and vegetable skewers, grilled and smashed potatoes, and grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream and blueberries. Children must be at least seven years old and accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $190 for each parent and one to two children. Class will run from 11:30 am–1 pm.
