Fort Worth gets its own location of famous revolving sushi bar

Kura Revolving Sushi
A novel sushi restaurant is making its Fort Worth debut: Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, a chain from Japan where the sushi moves past diners on a conveyor belt, will open its first location in north Fort Worth at 2700 N Tarrant Pkwy. #130, in a new small center just west of I-35. The grand opening will take place on Thursday, February 13.
For those who gotta be there first, it will open softly on Monday, February 10, and will have limted hours through February 12.
Kura Sushi USA, Inc. is the largest revolving sushi bar chain, famous for its technology-driven "eater-tainment" experience and authentic Japanese cuisine. Servings of sushi and other menu items are placed on plates which then wind through the restaurant allowing diners to pluck plates off the conveyor belt as they pass.
In addition to sushi, they also have ramen and udon noodle soup, dumplings, veggie tempura, edamame, cucumber salad, and fried treats like fried wontons, fried "tuna sticks," and French fries.
Each item is priced individually, ranging from $3 to $8, with an average diner spending about $40 to $50.
Kura Sushi USA, Inc. was established in 2008 as a subsidiary of Kura Sushi, Inc., a Japan-based revolving sushi chain with more than 600 restaurants internationally. There are 70 locations in 20 states and Washington D.C., and four locations in DFW: Carrollton, Euless, Frisco, and Plano, with another opening in McKinney in 2025.

The Kura experience features:
Revolving Sushi Bar. This is the primary belt that snakes through the dining area with plates of sushi — protected by their patented "Mr. Fresh" ventilated sushi lid, which limits airborne exposure and has plate-tracking technology that monitors how long the item has been circulating.
The Express Belt. This is positioned above the primary belt. They refer to it as a “sushi highway,” as guests can place orders from a menu of more than 100 items, using a touch panel tablet at the table. The food then arrives directly from the kitchen.
Bikkura Pon Prizes. The Bikkura Pon Prize System is an integral part of Kura Sushi USA’s innovative and tech interactive dining experience and is comprised of a prize machine, touch panel, and plate disposal slot located at every table. The touch panel registers the number of sushi plates dispensed into the plate disposal slot. After every five plates inserted, you see a short animation on the touch panel. After 15 plates, a prize is dispensed from the prize machine.
For opening day, they're providing incentives: The first 50 seated dine-in guests on February 13, 14, and 15 who show a Kura Sushi Rewards Member QR code will receive one sushi towel. The first 300 seated dine-in guests on February 13 will receive a Fort Worth sticker.
