Over-the-top ice cream shop with late-night delivery debuts in Fort Worth

Scoop and Scootery is known for over-the-top ice cream sundaes, like the Holy Cannoli.
In a big scoop for Fort Worth, a dessert shop from the Northeast known for its towering ice cream sundaes and late-night delivery, called The Scoop N Scootery, is making its Texas debut near Alliance Town Center.
According to a release, the shop will open at 3529 Heritage Trace Pkwy. #117, steps from H-E-B, on Saturday, March 14.
The Massachusetts-based concept specializes in over-the-top sundaes stacked with generous scoops of ice cream and an eye-popping assortment of toppings, sauces, "tunnels" or "cores," and mix-ins. A peek at the Fort Worth menu shows 70 indulgent varieties including:
- Holy Cannoli: Vanilla ice cream with a cannoli cream filling, topped with cannoli shell, chocolate chips and homemade whipped cream.
- Mint City: Mint Oreo ice cream with a chocolate frosted cake core, topped with chocolate fudge, chocolate chips and homemade Oreo frosting.
- That Thicc Boi: Chocolate ice cream with a brownie core, topped with chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chips and chocolate buttercream frosting.
- Beauregarde: Black raspberry ice cream topped with bananas, blueberries, pie crust and homemade cinnamon whipped cream.
- Reign of Terror: Chocolate brownie ice cream with a frosted red velvet core, topped with a layer of chocolate buttercream frosting, Oreos and homemade whipped cream.

The brand has built a viral social media following (40,000 TikTok followers strong) for its creative and camera-ready creations.
Their other claim to fame is that they're open late for night owl-snacking. According to the website, the Fort Worth store's hours will be 1 pm-12 am Tuesday-Saturday and 1-10 pm Sunday. They sleep on Monday.
The "scootery" part of the name refers to their beginnings as an ice cream delivery truck. Orders for delivery can be placed directly through the website. They deliver until midnight. "If we're open, delivery is open," a spokesperson says.
The delivery radius is anywhere within 40 minutes of the store, they say, so it can fluctuate based on traffic. (Tip: If you live farther away, order when there's less traffic.) The delivery fee also fluctuates based on how busy the store is and driver availability.
The Fort Worth shop, owned and operated by Teresa and Christian Viveiros, will be the brand's seventh, after locations in the Boston area, New Jersey, Charlotte, and Jacksonville, Florida. (The next will open in Northern Virginia.)
The Fort Worth store will host a grand opening celebration on March 14, starting at 1 pm, featuring music, photo opps, and giveaways for guests.
