Texas Panhandle XIT Ranch chef Abby Knowles will visit Fort Worth this week.
One of Texas' most noted female chefs will visit Fort Worth this week for a ranch-to-table dinner. Also on the list: art pairs with mezcal and modern Mexican cuisine, a Juneteenth dinner party showcases African flavors, and three chefs will collab for an Italian Sunday supper.

Art Exhibition & Five-Course Dinner at Don Artemio
An art exhibition called “Between Shadows and Sun” by Fort Worth artist Fernando Rojas will be on display at Don Artemio during this five-course tequila and mezcal pairing dinner. Enjoy cocktails, an artistic talk, and gallery experience with dishes like sous vide filet with red wine reduction, shrimp with aguachile negro, and tacos de lengua. Each course will come with a mezcal or tequila pairing. Tickets are $120 plus tax and gratuity, and dinner begins at 6 pm.

Ranch to Table: Dinner with XIT Ranch at Bricks and Horses
Seven-course communal wine pairing dinner will highlight the historic Texas Panhandle ranch, XIT Ranch. Drew Knowles, a descendant of the ranch’s founder, John Farwell, and his chef wife, Abby Knowles, will be on-site to talk through the menu and the ranch’s history. Menu highlights include milk-braised short rib tortellono and charcoal grilled picancha. The dinner is $225 plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm.

Juneteenth Supper Club at Magdalena’s
This two-night event will celebrate Juneteenth with a special supper club menu honoring the culinary history of Black Americans and the African diaspora. Highlights from the five-course menu include sweet potato biscuits with honey butter, catfish hushpuppies, black-eyed pea salad, braised oxtail, and plantain pudding. The $89 ticket (plus tax and a service fee) includes a spiced sorrel punch cocktail. The dinner will be offered both Friday and Saturday night at 7 pm.

Summer Kick-Off Vendor Market at Terra Mediterranean
Artisan Circle and Cultura Markets will host a vendor market at the newly reopened Terra Mediterranean featuring local shopping, bites, arts, and creativity. The market will run from 11 am–6 pm.
Sunday Supper at Emilia’s
This collaborative guest chef Italian dinner will feature dishes from Emilia’s chef Preston Paine, Bocca Osteria chef Alessandro Salvatori, and il Modo chef Greg Pawlowski. Each chef will prepare a course. Tickets are $125 plus tax and gratuity, with an optional wine pairing for $50. Dinner begins at 7 pm.
