3. Developer plots 629-acre master planned community in north Fort Worth. A developer is teeing up a master planned community in northwest Fort Worth. Centurion American Development Group has acquired a 629-acre tract of land for the Rio Claro project, featuring approximately 1,761 single-family homes.

Cheese Adventure World, it's an entertainment destination for families with young kids from Chuck E. Cheese, the Dallas-based pizza buffet chain, and it opened its very first location in Arlington this week.

3. Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes in Decatur closes suddenly after 20 years. A family-owned steakhouse in Decatur has closed. Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes, a sibling to the beloved Babe's Chicken chain, closed its location in Decatur after 20 years. A post from the restaurant called it a "difficult decision to permanently close this restaurant" and said it was an honor to serve the community.
