Rod Stewart thinks Fort Worth is sexy with stop on his 2020 tour
Legendary singer/songwriter Rod Stewart will come to Fort Worth as part of his 2020 North American Tour, playing at Dickies Arena on Saturday, August 29.
The two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will travel to 21 cities on the tour, starting with Cleveland, Ohio on July 21. In addition to the Fort Worth stop, Stewart will go to Houston suburb The Woodlands on August 30. Stewart will be joined by special guests Cheap Trick on all but two stops on the tour.
Stewart, who will celebrate his 75th birthday January 10, has been a music mainstay for the past 50 years. He has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, notching 10 No. 1 albums and 26 Top 10 singles in his native U.K., plus 17 Top 10 albums and 16 Top 10 singles in the U.S.
Unlike other artists his age who stopped recording long ago, Stewart has consistently put out new albums, including his 2019 release, You're in My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
To coincide with his birthday, tickets for the tour will go on sale to the public on January 10 at 10 am, at LiveNation.com.
