The women's tournament, which has been taking place since Monday, will culminate with the championship game on Thursday. Upright Theatre Co. presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast
The classic story of Beauty and the Beast tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Upright Theatre Co. will present the production at Palace Arts Center in Grapevine through Sunday.
Circle Theatre presents An Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf
No menu is necessary at the world’s greatest restaurant, the Café du Grand Boeuf in Paris. On a hot July night in 1961, we await the imminent arrival of Victor, the Café’s owner and sole patron. But when “Monsieur” returns from the bullfights in Madrid, disheveled and morose, his wish is simple: to die of starvation at his own table. In an effort to thwart his attempt, his loyal staff prepares a sumptuous seven-course meal served on empty plates. Will they succeed in ultimately feeding his soul? The play will run at Circle Theatre through April 2.

Jon Wolfe in concert
There are a lot of big-time stars who grace the stage at Billy Bob's Texas, but just as often they showcase talented and hard-working musicians with smaller but loyal fanbases. Jon Wolfe has six albums to his credit, most recently 2021's Dos Corazones, and only one of them — 2015's Natural Man — made any kind of impact on the Billboard Country charts. But you can expect the venue to be packed once again for him, as he's a regular in Fort Worth.
