Circle Theatre presents Office Hour
Office Hour is a penetrating drama that could leap from today’s headlines. A troubled student hides behind dark glasses and writes disturbing and provoking literature. Is he venting or really troubled? His professor is the only one willing to get close enough to understand. Will the day end in tragedy, hope … or somewhere in between? The play will run at Circle Theatre through May 11.
The Cliburn presents Joshua Roman
Joshua Roman has earned an international reputation for his wide-ranging repertoire, a commitment to communicating the essence of music in visionary ways, artistic leadership, and versatility. A pioneer in experiencing classical music in new ways, his multi-faceted career has seen innovative online projects, a curation of genre-bending festivals and events, and performances in a variety of venues. He'll perform at Scat Jazz Lounge.

Magnolia at the Modern: The Chaperone
Set during the tumultuous times of the early 1920s, The Chaperone centers on a Kansas woman (Elizabeth McGovern) who is forever changed when she chaperones a beautiful and talented 15-year-old dancer, Louise Brooks (Haley Lu Richardson), to New York for the summer. One of them is eager to fulfill her destiny of dance and movie stardom; the other is on a mission to unearth the mysteries of her past. The film will screen seven times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Casa Mañana presents The Wizard Of Oz
This musical favorite tells the story of Dorothy and her dog Toto, who have been swept away by a tornado to the land of Oz. As they search for their way home, they meet a Scarecrow, a Tin Man, and a Cowardly Lion who help guide them on their way to find the magical Wizard of Oz. With songs like “If I Only Had a Brain” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” The Wizard of Oz is a classic in every sense of the word. The musical will run through May 12 at Casa Mañana Theatre.
Lanco in concert
Only one album into their career, the country band Lanco (or, if you prefer, LANCO) has already had a big impact on the genre. Their 2018 debut album, Hallelujah Nights, went to No. 1 on the country charts and made the top 20 on the Billboard 200, mostly on the strength of their No. 1 hit, "Greatest Love Story." They'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

El Fuerte Fort Worth Tacofest
The annual El Fuerte Fort Worth Taco Fest will take attendees on a rollercoaster of flavor, with dozens of different tacos from Fort Worth, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, theatrical performances, and a kids zone for the young taco lovers. The daylong festival will take place at Panther Island Pavilion.
Fort Worth Stockyards presents Texas-Sized Easter Egg Hunt
Visitors can experience Easter in true Texas style at the Fort Worth Stockyards' annual Easter Egg Hunt. Thousands of eggs will line the lawns of the historical Livestock Exchange Building for kids ages 0-12. Other activities include pictures with the Easter Bunny inside Stockyards Station, face painting, old west gunfight shows, and live music.
National Theatre Live: The Tragedy of King Richard The Second
Simon Russell Beale plays William Shakespeare’s Richard II in this visceral new production about the limits of power. Richard II, King of England, is irresponsible, foolish and vain. His weak leadership sends his kingdom into disarray and his court into uproar. Seeing no other option but to seize power, the ambitious Bolingbroke challenges the throne and the king’s divine right to rule. There will be one showing at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth Stockyards will host a Texas-Sized Easter Egg Hunt on April 20.
