Choices include two musicals, including one celebrating a classic Motown group; screenings of an Oscar-nominated film; two comedians; a trio of country music concerts, including the final bow of a legendary singer; a classic ballet; a classical music concert; and a visit from a highly-entertaining basketball team.

Theatre Arlington presents In the Heights
Set against the beats of salsa and hip-hop, In the Heights tells the story of Usnavi, who longs to pick up his roots and move away from Washington Heights, the tight-knit New York City neighborhood that shaped him. Featuring music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2008. The production, which started last week, runs through February 23 at Theatre Arlington.
Broadway at the Bass presents Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations
Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations is a Broadway musical that follows The Temptations’ extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Set to the beat of the group’s treasured hits, including "My Girl," "Just My Imagination," "Get Ready," and "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," Ain’t Too Proud tells the unforgettable story of the legendary quintet that Billboard magazine named the greatest R&B group of all time. The production runs through Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.

Magnolia at the Modern: Sing Sing
Divine G (Oscar-nominated Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn't commit, finds purpose by acting in a theater group alongside other incarcerated men, including a wary newcomer (Clarence Maclin), in this true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art, starring an ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors. The film will screen seven times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
Big Laugh Comedy Club presents Brent Morin
Brent Morin is a Los Angeles-based comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his role on the NBC sitcom Undateable. Morin’s new half hour can be seen on season two of Netflix’s The Standups and his one hour special, I'm Brent Morin, is also streaming on Netflix. He'll perform four times through Saturday at Big Laugh Comedy Club.
Hyena's presents Learnmore Jonasi
Learnmore Jonasi is a Zimbabwean stand-up comedian and actor whose comedy is brought to life by past experiences, observations, and his view (from the top). He was the winner of the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival, and the 2023 audience choice Jersey City Comedy festival. He also received the Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent in 2024. He'll perform four times through Saturday at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub.
Muscadine Bloodline in concert
Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster, collectively known as country duo Muscadine Bloodline, are rising stars in the genre, having been together for almost 10 years. After a couple of acclaimed EPs, they have released three albums in the the 2020s, most recently The Coastal Plain in 2024. They'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.
Saturday, February 15
Alan Jackson in concert
There were few bigger country music stars in the 1990s than Alan Jackson. He was such a hitmaker that he released a greatest hits album just five albums into his career, and no wonder, since he had already had 11 No. 1 songs by that point. But time and his health have caught up with him, and so he comes to Fort Worth as part of his final tour, Last Call: One More for the Road, in which he'll treat fans to the many hits from throughout his career. He'll play at Dickies Arena.
Ballet Frontier presents Swan Lake
Ballet Frontier will present Swan Lake, one of the most iconic love stories. The production features Tchaikovsky's haunting score, lush sets and costumes, and world-famous choreography. There will be performances on Saturday and Sunday at I.M. Terrell Academy.
Hudson Westbrook in concert
Hudson Westbrook is a rising country music star who made his debut with “Take It Slow” in 2024 while still enrolled at Texas Tech. Hailing from the small town of Stephenville and raised on everything from George Strait to gangsta rap, the former athlete has since released the windows-down anthem “Two Way Drive” and the propulsive new single, “5 to 9." He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

FWSO Strings at Beth-El
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Associate Conductor Michelle Di Russo leads an all-strings ensemble in a reflective concert celebrating the profound contributions of Jewish composers to classical music. From Argentinian Osvaldo Golijov's tango-inspired Last Round to American George Gershwin's serene Lullaby and German Felix Mendelssohn's charming Sinfonia No. 2, they'll play works drawn from all corners of the world. The concert takes place at Beth-El Congregation in Fort Worth.

Harlem Globetrotters 2025 World Tour
The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters come to Fort Worth as part of their 2025 World Tour. The Globetrotters, the trick-shot stars of basketball, will show off their signature spins, dunks, and slam as they take on their determined rivals, the Washington Generals. The game takes place at Dickies Arena.
