1. Colleyville restaurant to appear on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. A Colleyville restaurant is about to hit the big-time — again — via an appearance on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, the Food Network show starring magnanimous host Guy Fieri. Chef Point Restaurant & Bar will get a moment in the Guy spotlight in an episode premiering on Friday, August 15.
2. Southern fried chicken cult fave Bojangles to make Fort Worth debut. A Southern fried chicken chain is coming to Fort Worth. Bojangles, the North Carolina-based concept famous for its chicken tenders and biscuits, is opening at 12801 South Fwy., in a former Five Guys space right off I-35W just above Burleson.
3. Northeast discount chain BJ's Wholesale Club is coming to Fort Worth. An exciting new chain for discount shoppers is coming to Fort Worth. BJ’s Wholesale Club, a membership-based warehouse club making its way into Texas, will open a location in south Fort Worth in a new center off the Chisholm Trail Parkway.

4. Long-awaited mid-mod Fort Worth restaurant The Mont has arrived. A much-anticipated new restaurant in Fort Worth is ready to make its debut. The Mont, an elevated New American concept, will open on the west side of Fort Worth, just outside the Montserrat neighborhood, on August 7.
5. Acclaimed Fort Worth restaurant Brix Barbecue to close. A Fort Worth BBQ superstar is calling it quits. Brix Barbecue, which has been serving some of the city's best barbecue for eight years, will close its location at 1012 S. Main St. in mid-August.
