1. Fort Worth suburb makes the list of best places to live in the U.S. Nearly a dozen Dallas-Fort Worth cities, including Mansfield, have landed among the best places to live in 2025, according to U.S. News & World Report.

4. 12 semifinalists named in 2025 Cliburn Piano Competition in Fort Worth. The field of competitors in the Seventeenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition was narrowed to 12 semifinalists, who are competing now. The field will be narrowed down to six finalists following the last performance on June 1.

5. Fort Worth rules Texas Monthly's new top 50 BBQ joints list of 2025. Eighteen Fort Worth-area barbecue restaurants have earned spots on the hottest barbecue list in Texas, via Texas Monthly magazine, and two Fort Worth favorites hit the coveted top 10.
