Jubilee Theatre presents Sassy Mamas
Sassy Mamas follows three accomplished women who, later in life, boldly step back into the dating world — seeking younger men they proudly call “tenders,” not “cougars,” but “black panthers.” Though playful and sexy on the surface, the story is ultimately about empowerment: three women refusing society’s rules about age, love, and who they’re allowed to desire. The production runs through June 28 at Jubilee Theatre.
Casa Mañana presents Come From Away
Come From Away is the remarkable true story of the small town that welcomed the world. In the wake of 9/11, the town of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed 7,000 passengers from diverted flights into their homes and hearts in an extraordinary act of kindness. With a folk-inspired score and a story that’s both deeply moving and unexpectedly uplifting, Come From Away is a powerful reminder of the connections that bring us together, even in the most challenging times. The production runs through June 7 at Casa Mañana.
Improv Arlington presents George Wallace
Comedian George Wallace’s most recognized material is his “I Be Thinkin’” lines and jokes about everything from conversational thoughts to political aspirations. In each show, he engages members of the audience in comical banter, and, if provoked, he might even throw out a few of his signature “Yo Mama” jokes. He'll perform four times through Sunday at Improv Arlington, joined by opening act Jennifer Holliday.
Alex Warren in concert
All most singers want is that one hit that will resonate with the public, and the young Alex Warren has already accomplished that with "Ordinary," which has gone to No. 1 around the world. The success of that song has made the title of his 2025 debut album, You'll Be Alright, Kid, seem prophetic. He'll play at Dickies Arena, joined by special guests Nat & Alex Wolff.
Hyena's presents Paul Rodriguez
Longtime comedian Paul Rodriguez has been making audiences laugh all over the world (in Spanish and English) for 40 years with his unique brand of humor that is a perfect blend of his Latin heritage, the American dream, and his undeniable universal appeal. As an actor and comedian, Rodriguez’s multi-faceted career includes starring roles and featured appearances in over 45 films and countless television series and comedy specials. He'll perform four times through Saturday at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub.
Dylan Scott in concert
Country singer Dylan Scott has been offering country fans something a little different since his debut in 2013. Incorporating elements of pop and even rap, he's made a name for himself with hit songs like "My Girl," "Hooked," "New Truck," and "What He'll Never Have." He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas in support of his 2025 album, Easy Does It.
Saturday, May 30
William Clark Green in concert
Country singer William Clark Green is no stranger to playing in Fort Worth, both as a solo performer, as part of the group The Panhandlers, alongside fellow singer Drake White, and as part of the Fort Worth Music Festival. He'll play once again at Billy Bob's Texas in support of his new album, Watterson Hall.
