Funky Picnic Summer Beer Dinner
Snag last-minute tickets to this Near Southside brew house’s first-ever beer pairing dinner. Chef Josh Rangel will prepare five courses, including Hamachi sashimi, crispy prosciutto salad, seared salmon with sweet corn puree, pork belly with plum sauce, and white chocolate mousse with cherry gelee and avocado and lime ice cream. Tickets are $85, and guests have the opportunity to add a $15 32-ounce crowler of limited-edition cherry brut IPA to take home. The sweet brew will be paired with the dessert course. Dinner begins at 7:30 pm.

Martin House Beer Dinner at Café Modern
Guests will get to meet founder and brewer Cody Martin of Martin House Brewing Company at this six-course dinner paired with Martin House brews. Summer flavors on the menu include seafood tostadas with mango pico de gallo, chorizo burger sliders, cocoa chile-rubbed pork tenderloin, Greek lamb chops with orzo vegetable salad, and dessert by Melt Ice Creams paired with Martin House’s strawberry and waffle cone ice cream ale. The dinner is $75 ($65 for museum members), plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm.
Texas Whiskey & Wine Dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille Southlake
Enjoy a spirited taste of the Lone Star State at this four-course dinner paired with the guest’s choice of Texas wines or cocktails poured with Texas whiskeys. On the menu: butter-poached tiger prawn, tomahawk pork chop, venison tenderloin, and elote ice cream with Texas peaches. The featured winery is Bending Branch in Comfort and whiskeys will come from Herman Marshall, Garrison Brothers, and Firestone & Robertson. Reservations are $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and dinner begins at 6:30 pm.
BBQ & Whiskey Dinner at Barrel & Bones
The Montgomery Plaza barbecue joint is partnering with the Dallas Bourbon Society to share some whiskey and ‘cue. The three-course dinner will feature whiskey cocktails from San Antonio’s Rebecca Creek Distillery. Tickets are $50 (plus a $4.80 fee), and dinner begins at 7 pm.

Hatch Chile IPA Release at Shannon Brewing Company
The event name says it all. The Keller brewery, which celebrates its fifth anniversary at the end of this month, will release a limited supply of Hatch chile-infused IPA using the piquant New Mexican pepper. Find it only on tap starting at 4 pm. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
