The Last Girl Scout Stout and Cookie Flights at Martin House Brewing Company
Girl Scout Cookie season arrives early at Martin House Brewing Company, which is launching its barrel-aged Thin Mint cookie stout – called The Last Girl Scout – with a pairing party. The $15 flight includes four beers and four cookies (which may or may not all be Girl Scout Cookies), including Thin Mints, lemon cookies, caramel-chocolate-coconut cookies, and Fig Newtons. Visit anytime from 4-8 pm.
Sparkling Class at Thirty-Eight & Vine
Learn the differences between various sparkling wines during this bubbly tasting at The Foundry District wine bar. Only 10 spots are available, and the class will be held in Thirty-Eight & Vine’s private room. Class is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6 pm.

National Coffee Day at Shipley Do-Nuts
The longtime Houston-based doughnut chain will celebrate National Coffee Day with a free cup. All customers at any Fort Worth store can get a complimentary medium house blend coffee with any purchase, in-store or online, with the code COFFEE929. Shipley’s recently rolled out a new coffee line, a blend of ethically sourced Central and South American coffee beans that are medium roasted for hot brew.
Wine Dinner at Jane
The chic Southlake wine bar will host a six-course wine pairing event featuring an array of small plates and wines from around the world. Menu items include green tomato gazpacho, chicken piccata wontons, bison sliders with onion jam, charcoal pasta with butternut squash sauce, spiced lamb chops, and brown sugar flan. The pairing event is $119 per person and begins at 7 pm.

Wine and Brine at Waters
Patio season is basically back, and Waters Restaurant is celebrating with the return of its Wine and Brine series. Every Friday, guests can make reservations for $25 per person to sit and sip on the patio. The fee includes two glasses of wine paired with two chef-inspired small plates. Reservations are not required, but walk-ins are very limited. The patio opens at 4 pm.
State Fair Pop-Up at The Dusty Biscuit
If making it out to the State Fair of Texas isn’t in the cards, catch this fair food pop-up in Fort Worth. Dusty Biscuit Beignets (winner of the 2022 CultureMap Tastemaker Award for Best New Restaurant) will serve a special menu of classic and gourmet funnel cakes, fried Oreo beignets, deep fried “Dusty Dogs,” and frozen State Fair-style lemonade. Visit from 6-9 pm.
