DFW Restaurant Week
The 2025 edition of the annual dine-out fundraiser is in full swing, with week 1 now underway. Patrons can take partake in three-course dinners for $49 or $59 at places like Ellerbe Fine Foods, Tinie’s, and Duchess inside the new Nobleman hotel. A two-course lunch or brunch option is available for $29. Dozens of restaurants are participating in the annual event, which benefits Lena Pope Home and the North Texas Food Bank. Note that most restaurants are extending their specials through August 31.

Andy’s Frozen Custard New Store Celebration
Missouri-based frozen custard chain will celebrate the opening of its third Fort Worth location (1725 Basswood Blvd.) with giveaways and specials. Visit starting at 11 am for a ribbon cutting and performances by the Dallas Mavericks Drumline, Mavs ManiAACs, and D-Town Crew dance team. There’ll be spin-to-win prizes from 11:30 am–1 pm, and $2 one-topping sundaes all day long. The store closes at midnight.
Celebrity Chef Dinner & Fundraiser: Chef Moose Benhamacht at Taste Project
As part of its guest chef dinner series, the Arlington outlet of non-profit restaurant Taste Project (200 N. Cooper St.) will host chef Moose Benhamacht of Café Americana and the newly reopened Campo Verde. The multi-course dinner will benefit Taste Project’s mission of offering pay-what-you-can meals to the community. Tickets start at $160 for tables of two (including fees) and the BYOB dinner will run from 6–8 pm.

Best of Brunch at The Cookery
Level up your brunch skills with this hands-on cooking class. Menu items include roasted vegetable tart with caramelized onions and balsamic reduction, oven poached ham and sweet potato hash egg nests with spicy lemon hollandaise, blueberry buttermilk scones, seasonal greens salad with sherry shallot vinaigrette, and homemade mini doughnuts with vanilla bean glaze. A mimosa bar, wine, and coffee are included in the $125 price. Class begins at 12 pm.
