A "Spaghetti Western" refers to a genre of classic Western movies produced on low budgets primarily by Italian directors, including iconic titles like Fistful of Dollars and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. One Fort Worth fine dining restaurant will play on the theme for a multicourse wine pairing dinner in fun fashion. The dinner is one of four notable wine pairing dinners this week. Also on the list, the grand opening of a popular salad chain with giveaways and discounts.

Five-Course Wine Dinner at Tinie’s
Guest chef Alexis Chaparro of Dallas’ underground restaurant XO Raiz Mexicana will visit Tinie’s to prepare a five-course pairing dinner featuring Tres Raices Winery of San Miguel de Allende. Menu highlights include salmon aguachile verde with green apple and Thai basil; corn tamal stuffed with braised beef tongue; and peaches two ways with vanilla crumble and mint. The dinner is $145 and begins at 6:30 pm.

Original ChopShop Fort Worth Grand Opening
The chopped salad chain will celebrate the grand opening of its new Medical District location (105 E. Pennsylvania Ave.) with giveaways and specials, beginning at 10 am. The first 75 guests will receive a free ChopShop tote bag with entrée purchase, and 10 percent of opening day proceeds will benefit Mental Health America of Tarrant County. Additionally, TCU students get $3 off through June 30 and those who download the Original ChopShop app and spend $7 or more within 20 days will unlock $3 off for 30 days. Hours are 10 am-9 pm.

The Ottoman Table at Ellerbe Fine Foods
As part of Ellerbe Fine Foods’ “Around the World” dinner series, this month’s three-course dinner will explore the rich traditions of Turkish cuisine during Ramadan. Courses include traditional lentil soup with fresh mint and preserved lemon, slow-braised rabbit stew, and semolina sponge cake with orange syrup, toasted pistachios, and honey cream. The dinner is $58, with an optional wine pairing for $22. Seating times run from 5-8:45 pm.
Spaghetti Western Wine Dinner at 61 Osteria
The fine dining downtown restaurant will host a fun play on an Italian wine dinner with a spaghetti wWstern theme. The multicourse menu includes a baby gem salad; bay scallops with jumbo lump crab cake; spinach and artichoke fondue baked shells; Wagyu beef cheek with cacio e pepe polenta; and Italian semolina crepes with Key lime curd. The dinner is $149, and begins at 6:30 pm with a champagne reception.
Paul Hobbs Wine Dinner at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse
Enjoy wines from California, Argentina, and New York during this five-course pairing dinner in a private room at Del Frisco’s downtown. The menu includes halibut and shrimp ceviche; Duroc pork Milanese; Hudson Valley duck; Snake River Farms ribeye cap; and salted caramel bread pudding bites. The $185 price includes tax and gratuity and dinner begins at 6:30 pm.
