Luv Crepes Cafe debuts inside antique shop in North Richland Hills

Luv Crepes
Crepes are the star at a new cafe now open in North Richland Hills: Called Luv Crepes Cafe, it’s located at 5505 Davis Blvd. #A, inside Golightly's Antiques where it opened softly in December in the spot that was previously occupied by Garden Party Tea Room.
Luv Crepes is from Stephanie Sorrell, who previously worked in behavioral health but had a dream to have her own cafe. When the space came up at Golighty's, she was tickled at the opportunity to serve a group of ready-made customers seeking a bite while they shopped.
“I met owner Janet Golightly almost a year ago and stayed in touch with her,” Sorrell says. “She called me and said the tea room was closing due to family reasons and offered the space. It was a fantastic opportunity.”
Sorrell is an avid traveler who was inspired by creperies she visited during trips to Europe. Doing a cafe also brought her back to her early years in hospitality and service, something she enjoyed.

“I studied abroad and can still remember the first time I had one in Paris,” Sorrell says. “There are a lot of creperies that are largely in ski resorts. It’s fun and also something that offers a wide variety of options. I also love creating the customer experience.”
Her menu offers crepes in six options, savory and sweet, including:
- banana and Nutella
- raspberry lemon
- chipotle beef BBQ
- chicken pesto
The signature is sweet & spicy ham, with a spicy honey spread and sauteed mushrooms and onions. She also rotates in seasonal items such as pumpkin or blueberry lemon curd.
In addition to crepes, the cafe offers cinnamon rolls, a daily quiche, soups, sandwiches such as chicken salad and turkey & cheese, salads such as a Caesar, and desserts, with prices ranging from $6-$14. A coffee program includes cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and drip coffee, plus weekly specials, such as lavender or hazelnut and chocolate flavors.
They're open for lunch, brunch, afternoon tea, and early dinner, Monday-Saturday from 10 am-5 pm.
The space has mix-and-match vintage furniture, some plants, a few fixtures on the wall, and a patio — very much an antique shop tea room vibe, but with a polished cement floor that makes the space feel clean and spare, not overdone.
