1. H-E-B Alliance store in Fort Worth reopens after fire. The H-E-B Alliance supermarket in Fort Worth reopened last weekend after a fire in the meat market forced it to close for a full day.
2. Kansas wagyu market makes Texas debut with upscale Southlake store. A premier Kansas wagyu producer has crossed state lines to make its Texas debut in DFW.
3. Subterranean Fort Worth cocktail bar The Basement Lounge to close. A chic underground cocktail bar in Fort Worth has announced last call. The Basement Lounge on Camp Bowie Boulevard will permanently close on July 31 after more than a decade.

4. Longtime Fort Worth Tex-Mex chain Pulido's shutters one location. Fort Worth restaurant chain Pulido's Kitchen & Cantina has one fewer location. The doors to the Hurst restaurant closed for good Thursday, July 16.
5. Acclaimed Fort Worth bakery The Sour Boule expands with Aledo location. A Fort Worth favorite for sourdough bread and artisan sandwiches is expanding west. The Sour Boule is opening a second location in Aledo and is currently hiring for the new shop.
