There will be plenty of 4th of July events in and around Fort Worth, including Fort Worth's Fourth.
The 250th birthday of the United States is making many people feel extra patriotic, so what better time to get out and enjoy one of the many 4th of July celebrations taking place in and around Fort Worth?
Below, we've assembled all of the 4th of July-themed events happening in the Fort Worth area in 2026, starting on July 1 and running through the entire weekend. For a list of Dallas-area events, click here.
Wednesday, July 1
Northeast Tarrant Chamber presents Family 4th
The North Tarrant Chamber Family 4th event will feature festivities like bounce houses for the kids, food trucks, a corndog eating contest, and live music, followed by a show featuring fireworks and 2,500 drones. Fireworks and drones can be viewed from the parking lots of the Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum in Haltom City and BISD Plaza in North Richland Hills.
Thursday, June 2
Mansfield Rocks
Mansfield Rocks will feature both a drone show, launched from the Fields at Station 63, and a fireworks display, launched from Skinner Sports Complex. The fireworks will be able to be seen from a wide radius around the Skinner Sports Complex. Kemper Sports will put on an event at the Fields at Station 63 for the drone show.
Friday, July 3
Southlake Stars & Stripes
Southlake Stars & Stripes features two stages of entertainment with performances by Escape, the Southlake Community Band, North Texas Performing Arts, and Inspiration Band. There will also be family activities, concessions, and a fireworks show at the end of the night. The event takes place in Southlake Town Square.
Hurst Stars & Stripes
The annual City of Hurst Stars & Stripes will feature live music by Grady Spencer & the Work and Q the Band, food trucks, a kids' area, and a fireworks show. Taking place at Hurst Community Park, the event will have free shuttles available from a designated parking at North East Mall.
City of Keller presents Keller Lights
Keller Lights will feature a 20-minute fireworks show featuring drones, a headlining performance from Emerald City, photo ops, special giveaways, and food and drink vendors. The event takes place at Keller Town Hall.
Saturday, July 4
Arlington Independence Day Parade
The Arlington Independence Day Parade is the oldest event in Arlington and one of the largest 4th of July parades in Texas. The parade, which features 120 entries, steps off at the intersection of West Street and Mitchell Street, traveling around downtown Arlington.
4th of July Celebration in Denton
The 4th of July Celebration in Denton is a daylong event that includes the Yankee Doodle Parade and a fireworks show. The parade, starting at 9 am, features a variety of floats, organizations, and more, taking place in and around Downtown Denton Square. The Denton Noon Kiwanis Club will present the city’s fireworks show at North Texas Fairgrounds, with live music starting at 7 pm, and the fireworks show finishing the evening at 9:30 pm.
City of Burleson presents Red, White & BTX
The City of Burleson's Red, White & BTX is a full-day event that begins with the Lions Club Parade at 9 am, starting at the corner of SE Gregory and SW Johnson Avenue. The evening event, which starts at 5 pm at Chisenhall Fields, features food trucks, a concert, and a fireworks show.
Granbury's Hometown 4th of July Festival
Granbury's Hometown 4th of July Festival features a morning parade beginning at Granbury High School and ending around the downtown square. The parade stretches over two miles long, allowing for plenty of viewing opportunities. During the day, visitors can enjoy an arts and crafts fair. Around 9:45 pm, fireworks will be shot off over the lake directly behind the Pearl Street Bridge, which can be seen all over Granbury.
Flower Mound presents Independence Fest
Flower Mound's Independence Fest features a full day of events, starting with the annual Children’s Parade to Leonard and Helen Johns Park at 10 am, where there will be kids’ activities, face painting, and hot dogs and lemonade. The evening portion, starting at 5 pm at Bakersfield Park, features live entertainment on the main stage, led by headliner Gabby Barrett. There will also be food trucks, vendor booths, a car show, a kids’ zone, and fireworks.
City of Bedford presents 4thFest
Bedford 4thFest will feature live music by Downtown Fever Band, a kids' zone, food trucks, and a fireworks show when the sun goes down (around 9:30 pm). Visitors can bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and non-alcoholic beverages (no glass containers are permitted). The event takes place at Generations Park at Boys Ranch.
Fort Worth’s Fourth
Fort Worth’s Fourth is an Independence Day celebration featuring festival food and cold drinks, kids’ activities, opportunities to swim or tube on the Trinity River, live music by The Dick Beldings and Chattahoochee, and, of course, fireworks. The event takes place at Panther Island Pavilion.
Grapevine presents July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza
Grapevine will celebrate America’s birthday with the annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza, featuring spectacular fireworks set to patriotic music. While there is no official viewing party, there are a variety of viewing locations available around Grapevine Lake.
Sunday, July 5
City of Arlington presents Light Up Arlington
Light Up Arlington will feature an expanded fireworks and drone show in the Arlington Entertainment District. The lawns around Mark Holtz Lake in Richard Greene Linear Park will be the prime viewing spot for the show. Prior to the show, visitors can enjoy patriotic activities at the nearby Arlington Museum of Art and National Medal of Honor Museum, including a performance by the U.S. Army’s First Cavalry Band.
