Rapper Lil Wayne keeps nostalgia rolling into Fort Worth on 2026 tour

Lil Wayne will perform at Dos Equis Pavilion on September 17.
Lil Wayne has extended his North American tour celebrating more than 20 years of his Carter album series into 2026, and it will include a stop at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Thursday, August 27.
The tour is named after his 2025 album Tha Carter VI, the sixth in a series that nods to Lil Wayne's birth name, Dwayne Carter Jr.
After a two-month tour in 2025 that went to Dallas, Austin, and Houston, the rapper is adding stops in 29 more cities, with dates running from June 30 to October 23.
In addition to Fort Worth, Lil Wayne will perform in San Antonio on October 17. The Fort Worth stop will feature special guest 2Chainz.
With the tour, Lil Wayne is not only celebrating the release of his latest album, but also paying tribute to the long series, which started in 2004 with the original Tha Carter.
For over 25 years, Lil Wayne has remained one of the most popular artists in his genre. Each of his albums that was widely released has come in at either No. 1 or No. 2 on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop chart, and all but one of them made the top 10 on the overall Billboard 200.
Tickets will be available starting with Citi presale beginning Wednesday, March 18 at 10 am, followed by an artist presale at 12 pm ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, March 20 at 10 am at Ticketmaster.com.
As a thank you to Lil Wayne’s day-one fans, the tour will launch with a special 2-for-$75 ticket offer (code: DayOnes), rewarding early buyers with special pricing. The offer is limited and available while supplies last.
