This week kicks off with one of the tastiest happenings of the year in the CultureMap Fort Worth Tastemaker Awards. The fun continues with a tequila tasting, a creepy Friday the 13th craft brew sale, Saturday morning beer yoga, and a taco and margarita festival. End the week with a pop-up brunch at a local wine beer featuring a refined selection of a la carte dishes.

2022 CultureMap Fort Worth Tastemaker Awards
One of the tastiest events of the year, the CultureMap Fort Worth Tastemaker Awards honors the city’s top restaurant and bar talent with a night of delicious food and drink. Taking place at the 4 Eleven on South Main Street, the soiree will let guests sample bites and sip specialty drinks while the nominees and winners are unveiled. General admission tickets are $75 for entry at 7 pm; $125 VIP tickets provide early entry at 6 pm, complimentary valet, and a dedicated bar. Cast your final votes in the Best New Restaurant tournament, then find out who wins at the party.

Tequila Tasting at the Gaylord Texan Hotel’s Old Hickory Steakhouse
Start happy hour early during this afternoon tequila tasting at the Grapevine resort and hotel. Socorro Tequila will be featured, and each taste will be paired with hors d’oeuvres. Also included in the $65 per-person price is a cigar hand-rolled on site. The tasting will run from 2:30-4:30 pm.

Friday the 13th Flight & Cellar Sale at False Idol Brewing
The North Richland Hills brewery will get a little spooky with some scary brews on tap. Go for Hockey Mask Ways New England IPA, Slasher Berliner Weisse, and Oogie Boogie Nightmare Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Cookie Imperial Stout. The brewery will also open up their cellar of vintage stout and barleywine cans. Visit all day from 11 am-10 pm.

Bubbles + Beer + Yoga at Fort Brewery & Pizza
There are lots of beer yoga events at breweries around town, but this one includes not just one but two post-class beers in the $20 ticket price. Or choose two glasses of wine instead. The hour-long yoga session starts early at 9 am every Saturday. Bring your own mat.
Fort Worth Taco & Margarita Festival
The fourth annual festival will offer samples of some of the best tacos, margs, elotes, and more that Fort Worth has to offer. Taking place at The Yard in the West 7th area, the event runs 12-8 pm. VIP tickets ($40) allow for entry at 12 pm and more samples. General admission ($25) begins at 3 pm. There's also live DJ music, a beer garden, and a chance to win a getaway to Mexico. Pop-Up Brunch at Rancho Loma Vineyards
He’s a man of many hats, that wine guru-turned chef Ryan Fussell, who’ll visit the South Main Street wine bar to prepare an elaborate menu of brunch dishes. Think duck and rabbit rillettes and pecan-smoked chicken pate on the Refined Grazer Charcuterie Board; and smoked short rib poutine with duxelle gravy. Dishes will be available a la carte. The menu will be served from 12-3 pm.
