This week in gluttony
These are the 6 best food and drink events in Fort Worth this week

From a tiki party with pineapple-mango froses to a barbecue pitmaster showcase, this week’s events exude all the summer vibes. There’s also a wine tasting with macarons, a mixology class, and a very special pop-up featuring a nationally acclaimed taqueria from Austin.

Mixology Class at Harvest Hall
Visit Third Rail, the Grapevine food hall’s indoor music venue, for this cocktail class that will feature one classic and one craft cocktail. For the Love of BBQ Pitmaster Showcase
Pitmasters from across the country will meet in Roanoke to show off their smoking skills. Plenty of barbecue will be consumed, wine, beer, and live music entertainment. The $50 general admission ticket comes with unlimited tastings from all featured pitmasters, a drink ticket, and early admission at 6 pm. Admission is free for those who just want to purchase food and drinks a la carte. (Note that gusts without a general admission ticket may enter at 7 pm.) For those feeling extra hungry, enter in advance to participate in a rib-eating contest, which will be categorized by age group.
Tiki Party at WineHaus
Break out the Hawaiian shirt and visit the South Fort Worth wine bar for a tropical Saturday night party. The event will feature Hawaiian-themed food, live music, and pineapple-mango frosés. The party starts at 6 pm.
