5 Course Wine Dinner at Tinie’s Mexican Cuisine
Tinie’s Mexican Cuisine on South Main Street has a new partnership with former Don Artemio honcho Adrian Burciaga and a new cook in the kitchen, Top Chef Mexico finalist Ix-Chel Ornelas, who's bringing the flavors of her native Mexico to the menu. Experience her cuisine during this five-course dinner paired with Casa Madero wines. Menu highlights include sous vide filet with Oaxacan yellow mole and chocolate flan with lime zest. Dinner is $125, plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm.

Wilhoite’s 45th Anniversary Celebration
Trek it to downtown Grapevine (or hop on the convenient TEXRail) to visit Wilhoite’s, one of the city’s oldest watering holes, on its 45th birthday. The comfort food restaurant and bar, known for its daily lunch buffet, will throw a party with live music, happy hour specials, gift bags, prize giveaways, and more. The festivities will run from 4 pm-2 am.
It’s Gumbo at Hao’s Grocery & Café
Warm up with some Cajun heat during this hands-on cooking class at Hao’s Grocery & Café. It will feature gluten-free gumbo made with sassafras filé. Class is $55 and begins at 6 pm.

Italian Cheese and Charcuterie Board Class at Crystal Springs Hideaway
The River District burger joint and beer garden doubles as a wine, cheese, and charcuterie shop. Learn how to create a bespoke charcuterie board, featuring Italian cheese, to take home. The class also comes with an Italian cocktail (including a mixology demo) and Italian wine tasting. Reservations are $100, plus tax, and class begins at 6 pm.

Rodeo Kickoff Party at The Crescent
Elevate your rodeo pre-game party during this kick-off celebration at the elegant Circle Bar and Emilia’s restaurant inside The Crescent Hotel. The experience will feature a barbecue buffet with smoked chicken with Alabama white, Texas brisket, grilled jalapeno cheddar sausage, creamed corn, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, fried okra, cornbread, and pecan pie and banana pudding for dessert. It will also feature live music and a branding bar with personalized bandanas. Tickets are $100, plus gratuity, and include valet parking as well as shuttle service to and from the Dickies Arena for the opening night of the rodeo from 6-10 pm. The party starts at 4 pm
Rodeo Launch Celebration at Bowie House
The Bowie House is partnering with Garden & Gun magazine to throw a rodeo launch party complete with live music, specialty cocktails, and complimentary tastings from Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The festivities start at 5 pm and no reservations are required.

Dolly Day at Truck Yard Fort Worth
Dolly Parton will turn 80 years old on January 19, and Truck Yard is ready to celebrate with a day-long Dolly party. Visit for Dolly-themed drinks, a Dolly tribute artist (2:30-6:30 pm), a Dolly and Jolene lookalike contest (6 pm), plus kids and pup costume contests, Dolly Parton covers and more. Guests who bring a new or used children’s book get a Dolly Parton pin while supplies last. The party starts at 11 am and runs until midnight.
