Bready Dallas chain gives the Trophy Club brunch set a reason to live
Famed Dallas eatery and bar Bread Winners Café and Bakery and The Quarter Bar are heading west: The two concepts are opening locations in the booming suburban town of Trophy Club.
Owners Jim and Cindy Hughes have leased a property on the SH 114 frontage road in the Trophy Wood District, a new complex underway with restaurants, two hotels, shopping, a town hall/police facility, and public amenities.
The design will follow Bread Winners' eclectic style with classic architectural touches, a courtyard feel, rooftop space, and old-world charm. There'll be baked goods and, most important, the chain's trademark brunch.
Trophy Club mayor Nick Sanders says in a release that he's 100-percent on board with this news.
"Trophy Club and the region will benefit immensely," he says. "It's exciting to think that this time next year we will be eating at Bread Winners in Trophy Club."
This represents the first Bread Winners/Quarter Bar in Tarrant County. The release says that the Trophy Club restaurant will serve as the corporate catering hub for the west side of the Metroplex. Sounds like more Tarrant County branches are on the way.
