Oliver Anthony in concert
Country singer Oliver Anthony burst onto the scene in a somewhat unusual way in 2023, when his song "Rich Men North of Richmond" became a lightning rod, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart despite Anthony never having charted a song before. Capitalizing on that success, Anthony worked quickly to put together his first album, the recently released Hymnal of a Troubled Man's Mind. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

There will be two performances - one Friday and one Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.
Amphibian Stage presents Marie & Rosetta
Gospel and rock will collide as Dallas-Fort Worth favorite Denise Lee embodies the incomparable “Godmother of Rock ‘N’ Roll,” legendary Sister Rosetta Tharpe. The production runs through April 28 at Amphibian Stage.
Kameron Marlowe in concert
While reality singing competitions can be a springboard to immediate success for some singers, it can take longer for others (if at all). Kameron Marlowe appeared on The Voice in 2018, but only reached the top 24. Despite moving to Nashville after leaving the show, it took another four years for him to release his debut (and so far, only) studio album, We Were Cowboys. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

They'll be joined by The Vandals, Lagwagon, TSOL, Riverboat Gamblers, Codefendants, and Catbite. The event, taking place at Panther Island Pavilion, will include craft beer tastings, food trucks and vendors, and more.
Magnolia at the Modern: Io Capitano
In the acclaimed film Io Capitano, which won top directing and acting prizes at the Venice Film Festival and was nominated for Best International Film at the 2024 Oscars, writer-director Garrone presents a "reverse shot" of the immigration experience while unfurling an epic, cinematographically magnificent odyssey of two Senegalese teenagers from West Africa to Italy. The film, which is in Wolof with English subtitles, will screen four times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Travis Tritt in concert
During the country music boom of the 1990s, Travis Tritt stood tall among his fellow singers. His first five albums all reached the top 10 on the Billboard country charts, and he scored No. 1 hits with "Help Me Hold On," "Anymore," "Can I Trust You with My Heart," and "Foolish Pride." He went on to release 13 albums so far in his career, most recently Set in Stone in 2021. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.
